What is Being Made

This is a small amigurumi-style crochet toy based on the popular Among Us game. The character features the iconic design of the game with a rounded body and a distinctive mask. The finished toy measures approximately 4 inches (9.5 cm) in height, 2.5 inches (6.5 cm) in width, and 2.5 inches (6.5 cm) in depth, making it a compact project perfect for display or play. The pattern allows for customization using any of the game's character colors: red, white, yellow, dark green, light green, purple, pink, brown, dark blue, light blue, black, and orange, with mask options in light blue or gray.

Techniques Used

This beginner-friendly crochet project uses fundamental amigurumi construction techniques. The pattern incorporates color changes to create the character's distinct features, including the body and the signature mask element. The toy is worked in the round using standard amigurumi shaping methods with increases and decreases to form the three-dimensional structure. Materials and Tools

The yarn specification is 100% cotton in 8/6 weight (worsted weight), which provides a firm, structured fabric suitable for a small toy. You will need a 3.25 mm crochet hook to work with the worsted weight yarn. Additional materials include a tapestry needle for weaving in ends and finishing, fiber fill for stuffing the toy to create its three-dimensional shape, and 3 stitch markers to help track your place during construction. The yarn quantities are minimal: approximately 5 grams of your chosen character color, 2 grams of light blue for the mask, and a small amount of black for details such as eyes.
