Awesome Ocean Mosaic Square: Pirate Ship

This pattern is for a mosaic crochet square that can be used in other types of projects, such as blankets, pillows, satchel bags, table mats, etc.

Any yarn or hook will work, depending on the desired size of the finished square. I used yarn weight of 4 with a 5.5 hook, which creates a square of 13.5” x 13”.

This is a great way to use up scraps! To do the sample image, you will need 4 colors for the sunset (approx .2 oz each), 1-2 colors for the water (.2 oz total), black for the ship (.75 oz), and scraps of white, ALL in worsted or aran (wt 4) type of yarn. You can use other weight yarns if desired, just be sure to use the recommend hook size.
