This is a detailed written knitting pattern in pdf format for a cute butterfly themed baby’s hat, the butterflies flutter diagonally up the side of the hat. The detailed pattern includes row by row written instructions, charts and photos. The garment is knit flat on two needles in stocking stitch and reverse stocking stitch, with the butterflies added using Duplicate Stitch (Swiss Darning). The pattern includes a final page on “How to work Duplicate Stitch/Swiss Darn". I used Debbie Bliss Rialto DK which is 100% wool, however a cotton yarn would work just as well and would be nice for the spring!
