This easy-to-knit, incredibly flexible pattern allows you to create a custom-made reversible colourful blanket for someone you love or a forthcoming arrival. Choose your own colours, pictures, messages and size!
The pattern produces 'square' motifs measuring 17 x 16 cm (6-7 in) and provides templates for numerous images (including some not used in the blanket illustrated) and two full alphabets.
The sample uses Morris Avalon 8 ply Pima Cotton, an Australian yarn made by Morris & Sons. The Paintbox Yarn quantities given are for the blanket illustrated but you can make your blanket smaller or larger. The instructions explain how to make the blanket shown and how to create your own.
