Cirrostratus Cowl

Cirrostratus clouds are light wisps that spread out high up in the troposphere. This cowl takes several characteristics from them -- it's large, thin, and light. The silk mohair worked at such a large gauge creates a slight fuzzy (or hazy) look. However, unlike the clouds that are composed of ice crystals, this cowl will keep you warm and toasty.

This pattern is knit in a 2ply Silk Mohair. You can substitute a fingering weight yarn, or hold two strands of a lace-weight silk-mohair together. Suggested yardage is 520-620 yd (475-567 m).
