Fashion Forward Cowl

This stylish and fashionable accessory is a versatile must-have piece for fall & winter. Worn as a cowl, capelet, or combination of both, the honeycomb stitch provides warmth and insulation while the ribbed edges give it classic sweater-like elegance. This pattern is worked in the round, in one piece. It is designed in Cascade Eco Cloud, an aran-weight undyed merino wool/baby alpaca blend. Any heavy worsted or aran weight yarn would be suitable. The finished circumference, as the pattern is written, is approximately 35 in (89 cm), stretching to 42 in (107 cm). Instructions are included to make a wider capelet to fit a larger circumference around the shoulders. Pattern includes notes, list of abbreviations, and the stitch pattern is both written and charted. Skills required: knitting in the round, cabling with a cable needle. Stitches used: k, p, C4F, C4B.
