This is the girl's version of the sweater Hanefjed. Hanefjed is the Danish word for houndstooth pattern.
This is a sweater/pullover worked from the bottom edge and up with a 2-color allover pattern. The sweater has a combined round and raglan yoke and sleeve construction. The Sweater has traditional rib edges. The pattern is made for at yarn with a gauge of 18 stitches per 10 centimeters (2-color stockinette stitch) i.e. a yardage of approximate 90 meters per 50 grams. Pattern includes directions for a size 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 14 years with chest width 69, 73, 78, 84, 89 and 96 centimeters and a length of 42, 45, 48, 51, 55 and 59 centimeters.
