Here is a knitting pattern for you to make your very own mermaid cocoon for your own little munchkin!
This pattern will help you create a cocoon with a scale-y type stitch pattern (perfect for a mermaid), along with a tail. It's also a great pattern if you have left over yarn balls all in different colours just lying around that need using up!
The pattern requires you to have an intermediate-advanced level of knitting ability. However, if you are a beginner and looking to challenge yourself, this could be the pattern to try. Once you have mastered the stitches and pattern, it just keeps repeating! You also don't have to sew anything together at the end, which I personally think is always a bonus!
