This simply stylish scarf looks clever and elegant, but is extremely easy to make
Like all minimal knits | DESIGNED scarves, MK#5 drapes beautifully, can be worn in all sorts of ways and is quick to knit because it uses needles larger than is usual for the yarn. A 4ply/fingering version of MK#13, this scarf has an elongated boomerang shape with eyelet panels and edges, and is knitted on the bias. (If you have already purchased MK#13, and you’d like to do it in 4ply, just make a note of the needle size and yardage and follow the MK#13 pattern.)
The pictured scarf measures 60cm/23⅜in by128cm/47⅞in by 172cm/67⅛in after blocking
Yarn needed: between 350 metres / 394 yards and 385 metres / 421 yards of Fingering/Sock/4 ply
Gauge doesn’t matter unless you knit very tightly or very loosely, in which case go up or down a needle size
