The Nancy Hat has a deep 2x2 ribbing and slouches slightly. A textured stitch is used after the ribbing.
I wanted a hat in which I can wear my long hair down, but I can also wear the hat with my long hair up.
Most hats that I made can't handle my long hair up held with a big clip, and this Nancy Hat can.
For this design I used 128 Superwash by Cascade Yarn, but you can substitute with any bulky/chunky weight yarn as long as you have approximately 128 yards.
