A sweet little puppy, who looks a bit like a beagle and a bit like a border collie, but is cute either way! The toy and pullover are knit flat, then seamed and assembled. The face has some simple intarsia, but it's quite easy to leave out, and you can even knit the whole toy in a single colour for a different look. For a young child, embroider the eyes instead of using safety eyes or buttons.
The yarn listed is just a suggestion of what works well for a toy. Small toys like this are perfect for using up leftover balls from other knitting projects.
