The Roseate Cowl was designed using MadelineTosh Tosh Merino Light, which is a 100% superwash merino wool, fingering weight, single-ply yarn. Now, a lot of people don't like single-ply yarn, but I love working with it! The nature of single-ply is to be a bit of a thick-thin yarn, so there are variances in the yarn thickness as you work with it. Some people will cut out the thickest or thinnest parts, but I embrace it all and use the yarn as-is, letting the differences become part of the character of the piece.
