The cowl is worked flat (avoiding purling and the end-of-round colour jog), then seamed; using the edge-to-edge seam (instructions included) ensures an invisible join. Matching cast-on and bind-off techniques provide a perfect finish.
Substitution Notes The specified yarn is a bulky weight that works up at 3 to 3.75 sts/inch (2.5 cm) on 6 to 8 mm (US 10-11) needles. Look for a light and lofty wool, wool blend, alpaca, or acrylic that feels nice against the skin.
