This top-down triangle shawl was inspired by my Ukrainian roots. The blue and yellow reflect the Ukrainian flag, which represents the blue sky and the fields of wheat. In the middle there are several rows of aster stitches, representing Sunflowers, the national flower of Ukraine.
Sunflower Shawl is a top down, garter stitch triangle with aster stitch detailing in the middle.
