Do you remember the Pet Shop Boys song West End Girls from the Eighties? This song was in my mind when I was knitting this vest. So, the name of this project was found easily!
You are welcome to knit Vest End Girl with a fingering weigth yarn and wear it as a vest or a top.
Vest End Girl is knitted top down with short row shaping and v-neck. The cable band is beginner friendly. A tutorial for knitting the cables without a cable needle is given in this pattern.
Gauge 28 sts = 10 cm/4” with US4/3.5mm needle or any needle that gives you a proper gauge
Yarn: please knit with a fingering weight yarn, that gives you a propper gauge.
