This lacy head scarf is both elegant and easy if you are familiar with these simple lace stitches: yo, k2tog, ssk. The scarf is worked in one piece, starting at the bottom of one side, increasing for the “hood”, then decreasing back down to other end. Worked flat without seams. I recommend either a sport or worsted wt. but I have also knit this in my handspun which is between a fingering and a sport. The changes will affect the width of the piece.
