Product Details
Background
This is a Hanukkah color work vest worked in panels for the body and using a special colorwork technique, intarsia, or duplicate stitch to add the cheeky phrase to the front of the vest. The panels are knitted flat and then seamed at the end. Collar ribbing is added by picking up the stitches. The vest also features mock I-cord edging.
This vest is knit in DK yarn and knit with one main color and one contrast color for the design.
This vest was a collaboration with LoveCrafts, and knitted in MillaMia Naturally Soft Merino. The main color I used is called Denim (172) and the contrast color is called Butterscotch (168). NB: I am a loooooose knitter so if you are a normal or tight knitter expect to size up in needles to match gauge or go up a weight class for your yarn.
Estimated yardage is as follows:
You will need approx 400(480, 530, 540, 550)(565, 575, 580, 590) yds of main color. Each size should require less than 50g of contrasting color.
