Owen the owl wizard is a charming amigurumi crochet project.
His prominent eyes are the signature of this project. Finished, Owen is a generous 12" to make a statement. Great for sitting on your desk or mantle.
For this pattern I used category 4 cotton yarn and a 4 mm and 4.5 mm crochet hook. Floral wire for shaping, additional items for eyes and cloak clasp, polyfil and safety eyes.
Plan for 250 yards for body and 300 yards for cloak.
Use a tapestry needle for detail work ( follow along with the video tutorial for this part of the project) Customize cloak length.
