Product Details
These fingerless mittens were inspired by nature's transition where falling leaves start to meet icy mornings. Using leftovers of heavy fingering or sport weight yarn, they're a quick knit for a pretty gift or a nice way to try colourwork associations for larger projects. The leaf motif on the top features interesting techniques and will look eerie or crisp depending on your yarn choice. Simple colourwork and ribbing make the edgings while a thumb gusset allows for a comfortable fit.
Techniques used : Stranded knitting with two colours / Thumb gusset with simple increases / Invisible central double increase (video tutorial provided) / Cables with decreases (video tutorial provided) / Pattern instructions are charted only
Sample was knit in Tukuwool Fingering in Valo, Tyyni and Ujo.
Available in English and in French (from page 15).
