To choose the most appropriate size, measure the wearer’s chest and add the preferred ease. Or measure the circumference of an already-owned top that fits well. Then find the closest finished chest circumference.
Yarn: DK weight or light fingering held double. Depending on the length of the top, allow approximately:
-460 (490, 540, 575, 625, 690, 740, 805, 870) m
-500 (540, 590, 630, 680, 755, 805, 880, 950) yds
Note: The yardage specified applies to a single strand of DK weight yarn. If you’re using fingering yarn held double, double the required amounts.
Gauge: 20 sts & 28 rows = 10 cm / 4” in Stockinette stitch on larger needles, blocked.
