Baby Red Squirrel Amigurumi Pattern

Red squirrels are always adorable and this little one is no exception. He has curled his fluffy tail right up around his body while he has a nap.

The original red squirrel is made using needlefelting for the tummy, ears and tail but I have included instructions for other methods as well, which can be seen in the last photo of the red and white squirrels together (photo by @handandhookbyheather on Instagram, used with permission). The squirrel will turn out just as cute whether you needlefelt or not.

This pattern is written using US terminology but is easy to understand for those who use UK terms as the only different stitch is sc (dc in English terms). It takes about 4 hours to make and measures 9cm tall. It is fine to sell small numbers of finished items made from this pattern but please credit me (Woolly Wilderness) as the designer.
