Christmas stocking and trees

A holiday crochet pattern that has both a Christmas crochet stocking and matching trees to make a holiday mantle scene. Shown is a coastal version but you can customize to traditional colors or colors that suit your holiday decor best.

Pattern is for an experienced beginner who is comfortable with tension, working in the round, color changes and the tweaks to make an unusual stitch work. Video tutorial to help you get a good result for both items is included.

You will use a 5.5mm, 6 mm and 8 mm crochet hook to make these patterns with category 4 yarn. Additional notions like beads, glass beads, wood rings are all listed out as well as how to make tree trunks if you don't want to use the sitting flat option. I show you how the adornments are all attached. It is recommended to lightly stuff the tops of the trees.

Both projects are worked in the round with no seaming except for the heel of the stocking.

Trees stand flat at 6" high, stocking heel to cuff is 13".
