The design was inspired by matching egg cosies from the collection 'Mini Christmas Knits' and is constructed in two separate pieces that are sewn together.

Construction and Design Approach

The tea cosy uses a two-piece construction method, which allows for easier knitting and assembly. A distinctive feature of this design is the decorative rows of knitted leaves that are created separately and then sewn onto the main body of the cosy. This technique adds texture and visual interest to the finished piece.
