Cloudy Day Raglan

Cloudy Day Raglan is a beautiful textured sweater, combining lace and purl stripes. The sweater is worked seamlessly from top down and requires minimal finishing. The work begins with the neck ribbing. The neckline is then shaped with short rows. When the raglan increases are completed, sleeve stitches are placed on hold. The body is then worked in the round towards the hem and finished off with a ribbing. Sleeve stitches are then placed back on the needles and the sleeves are worked in the round towards the cuffs. The pattern includes a photo tutorial for German short rows. The lace pattern is both charted and written.

Yarn: 1050 (1210, 1350, 1440, 1570, 1725, 1845, 2015) yds / 960 (1105, 1235, 1320, 1435, 1580, 1690, 1845) m fingering weight yarn and the same amount of laceweight mohair to be held together or DK-weight yarn if working with a single strand. Please note that the given amounts are only an estimate.
