This lovely shawl is easy to knit and caters for all skill levels. If you are a beginner and are not familiar with wraps and turns, instructions are given excluding those. If, however, you are comfortable with wraps and turns, instructions are also given to knit using that method. Wraps and turns will help to eliminate holes in your work. The shawl is knit using the knit stitch throughout, making it a comfortable and quick to knit project.
To complete the project, you will need the following materials:
10 balls Nurturing Fibres Eco Cotton (2 balls for each colour – approx. 1.5 balls used for each segment [approx. 160m each colour]) colours used for the shawls shown :
Shawl in vibrant colours: seashell, pickled ginger, sunkissed coral, ruby and bordeaux
Shawl in shades of blue: Mist, Aqua, Anvil, Cornflower and Charcoal
Shawl in shades of brown: Vanilla, Sunglow, Karoo Lands, Wine barrel and Coco
US Size 6 (4mm) circular needle 80cm long
Gauge: 5.5 stitches in stockinette stitch = 1 inch
