Cosmopolitan

Cosmopolitan is a sophisticated lightweight scarf that will level up your professional look. This is not fussy, old-fashioned lace full of intricate yarnovers, increases, and decreases. I use binding off and casting on within the fabric to create stacked "windowpanes" for a modern look that's on trend.

All you need to know to rock this scarf is garter stitch, binding off and casting on and some patience, cuz I'm not gonna lie, there are ends to weave in. But-as long as you weave in your ends as you go, finishing is minimal so you can make and wear right away.

The pattern's simplicity lends itself to smooth, light, crisp yarns like cable-plied cotton, linen or hemp. If you want to go posh, it's gorgeous in a silk blend or a hand-dyed yarn.
