When I was a beginner, I fell in love with a brightly-coloured sock yarn in a local yarn shop and made it into a sweater for my daughter, calculating myself the number of stitches and rows. The sweater was lovely but my daughter couldn't wear it for a long time because her head wouldn't pass through the neck opening... Daydreamer is a sort of revenge project, with a tweak of speckled yarn which didn't exist those days!
Daydreamer is worked from the bottom up, with "full-fashioned" decreases on the raglan yoke. The top of the back is split into two to allow the head pass easily. The instructions are provided in two methods, back and forth (because I had never heard of knitting in the round then!), and in the round.
