The Emma Shawlette was inspired by the contest hosted on the Jane Austen’s Girls Swap group on Ravelry. Emily of AndersMill and I consulted the photos of group members’ favorite scenes to pull inspiration for a custom colorway and a custom design...and here it is!

This has been really wonderful and I hope you all enjoy the colorway. Yellow was a struggle for me, creating the correct tones without to much blue or green overtones was quite the adventure!
I think I hit upon just the right note here though one that I think should complement each of our skin tones and one that Miss Austen herself might wear:)
