Finley Cardigan

This pattern is recommended for confident beginners.

The cardigan is worked from the top down in one piece, so the use of circular needles for the body and DPNs or magic loop method for the sleeves is recommended. The sleeves are placed onto spare yarn whilst the body is completed. The body is worked in stocking stitch, back and forth, with the insertion of the diamond panel as detailed below. Cuffs, collar and button bands are worked in garter stitch.

Sizes: 0-3 months (3-6 months, 6-12 months, 12-24 months)

Needles: Straight or circular 4.00mm (US 6) plus DPN 4.00mm (or magic loop) for sleeves

Yarn: 50g x 3 (3, 4, 4)
