The booties are knit with chunky yarn and are knit flat. You can use any chunky thickness yarn, and you will need a pair of 6mm knitting needles. Thus will make a newborn pair of booties, and if you use 7mm knitting needles they will come up bigger and fit a larger foot.
The booties are a brilliant fast baby knitting project for anyone who does not like picking up stitches. You just knit the booties in once pice and then sew up the seam at the end.
You will need to know skp and k2tog to shape the booties, they are really simple and can be knit in around half an hour.
The baby booties will fit from birth to approx 3 months depending on size of little feet.
