Détails du produit

The idea for this shawl came during a stay in London (2022). It was only July, but it could just as easily have been September or October. Due to the terrible drought that summer, many trees in the parks and streets had already lost their leaves and the meadows were dry and yellow. It was a haunting sight and it affected me.

This triangular shawl is worked forth and back and in one piece from the top down. The body of the shawl has a small center panel and a right and left wing. After the body is completed, all stitches are bound off by working a nice leaf edging. Some twisted stitches are used in right side and wrong side rows.

Original yarn: Madelinetosh „Pashmina“ (75 % superwash Merino Wool, 15 % Silk, 10 % Cashmere), 329 m/113 g. 2 skeins in colourway „Night Bloom“

I have used up almost all the yarn. Please note that you may need more yarn if you use a larger needle size or knit looser.

Have fun, it's a relaxing project!
