Inspired by Cross Stitch samplers, Mile Cross was designed as a 5-part CAL, worked using overlay mosaic crochet, from centre-out.
It does not require any special stitches, nor mid-round colour changes, making it ideal for all levels of expertise, including beginners to mosaic crochet.
If you are unfamiliar with mosaic crochet don’t worry, it is much easier to do than it looks, and step by step instructions are given.
You will only be using 1 colour for each round.
Supporting videos for the gauge swatch and chart 7 (which includes 3-row overlay mosaic crochet) will also be provided on my Rosina Crochets YouTube channel.
Lefthander-friendly
For any non-symmetrical sections I have either provided a separate lefthanded chart, so it matches the written instructions (creating a mirror-image of the design), or separate written instructions (where letters / numbers are included).
The pattern is written using my simplified Universal abbreviations.
