Product Description
Pangolin Socks feature scale-like cables down the leg, resembling those on the Pangolin, the only mammal to be covered in keratin scales. The animal is famous in some circles for giving its name to a Ubuntu LTS release (12.04 Precise Pangolin).
These socks are top down with a reinforced flap and gusset heel, which can be easily adapted for a higher instep and comes in three sizes. They are designed to be worn with 1” negative ease.
The smallest size is worked the same as the medium, but on 2mm/US0 needles, due to design constraints. You may want to use a slightly thinner sock yarn for this.
The pattern contains written and charted instructions, whichever you prefer to work from. The digital version also contains bookmarks at strategic points to help you navigate the pattern.
The sample was made in Phileas Yarns Explorer Sock in the Reynisfjara colourway.
