Ritzy Rugby

The inspiration for this pattern was the package of Ritz Cracker buttons that I discovered in my button stash. This is a comfortable, soft lightweight pullover sweater. It is suitable for a confident beginning knitter. The pattern is specifically for toddler size 3T, but with directions on how to modify for larger and smaller toddler sizes from about 18 months through 4T. The sample was knit with Cascade Heritage 150 yarn which has been discontinued. The Heritage 150 yarn was an unusual weight, somewhere between sport weight and fingering weight. A good substitute is Cloudborn Superwash Merino Sport Twist, which I would also consider to be in between sport weight and fingering weight.
