The Row by Row pattern is an adorable, quick and easy (two row repeat) crochet pattern. It produces a perfect soft, stretchy and textured feel, which makes a beautiful handmade gifts for your next baby shower or for a newborn gift.
This is a written/photo tutorial pattern and written in US terminology
stitches
chain, double crochet, double crochet v-stitch (2 dc (double crochet) chain 1 2dc all in the same stitch), fpdc (front post double crochet) and bpdc (back post double crochet)
Different sizes are written within the pattern. Yarn used was Peter Pan Cotton Dk 100g balls, I used 3-4 balls. The size of the finished blanket in this picture is 22x27inches, I used a 5mm hook for the chain to keep this part from being too tight and 4.5mm for the rest of the pattern
Gauge My swatch gauge measured approx 17 stitches / 10 rows per 5 inches
Gauge will vary from one persons tension or yarn choice to another, just use the hook size recommended for the yarn you choose.
