So too does this shawl, where you’ll need all your knitterly tricks to follow the star’s path. Cables, colourwork, slip-stitch patterns, and lace all come together in an unusual shape reminiscent of a star’s wake across the sky. Wrap up and use the unique Starpoint as an optional built-in brooch to pin it in place.
The shawl is knit from the Starpoint tip with increases every 4th row along a central “spine” which make the shape an elongated mitred kite shape with a shallow point at the BO edge.
