Tread mark Baktus

Each knitter is unique and each yarn behaves differently. For this project choose a needle size that makes the fabric not too dense nor too open. The finished measurements will vary based on the individual knitter and their chosen gauge. Choose a yarn with approximately 350 – 420 m 380 – 460 yds / 100 g. Recommended circular needle size is 3 – 4 mm / US2½ – US6 (2.5 – 4 mm). For best result, use the knitting needles specified by the yarn manufacturer on the packaging. The baktus is worked sideways. It starts with a single stitch from which increases are worked up to the deepest point at the centre back of the baktus. From the centre back, it narrows down again decreasing back to a single stitch. This creates a perfectly symmetrical baktus.

Бактус вяжется поворотными рядами от левого края к правому, к середине расширяясь, затем симметрично сужаясь. Для вязания бактуса можно использовать любую пряжу, т.к. размер легко регулируется количеством повторов схем.
