I used a limited edition sock yarn for my pattern but it is great for any sock weight yarn or 4 ply yarn.
It's knitted in the round so great to use for getting used to circular needles. I used dpns at the top of the shape crown and have written this in the pattern, detailing how many stitches are on each dpn.
I designed this pattern because a knitter asked me to! She said she had knitted socks for all her family and friends, yet had sock yarn she wanted to knit with but something other than socks.
