This is a beautiful dramatic shawl when finished. I made it with the ruffle edge and definitely needed a long needle to accommodate the many stitches. Well worth it though. Already planning making another one in a different weight (I used DK for the first one) and colour. I’m thinking of using lace weight next. This pattern is so versatile and the changes in stitches keep you interested right to the end. Lovely.

Great
Have not made it yet but the pattern looks straight forward. Not an item for inexperienced knitters though, would need to be quite a confident knitter. I have quite a few projects to knit before I start on the shawl but looking forward to starting it, probably about Easter time.
