Crochet super cute cotton baby booties

There’s nothing sweeter than crocheting cute designs for babies, and these little booties most certainly have the “aww” factor! Kate Eastwood has come up with this brilliant pattern for super soft, cool cotton summer shoes that babies will find soft as butter and grown-ups will find cute as a button!

The best part of this fab project is that each pair of booties is made from less than one ball of yarn; making the perfect choice for whipping up last-minute baby shower and new arrival gifts! It also means that you can justify making a pair in every colour!

This pattern is in UK crochet terms.

Materials

  • 1x ball of cotton DK yarn in a shade of your choice
  • 3mm (for newborn size)
  • 3.55mm hook (for 0-3 months size)
  • A small amount of cotton DK yarn in a complementary shade for the edging and the flowers (optional)
  • 2mm hook (for the flowers, optional)
