The Christmas decorations are coming down and your gifts are all hooked up - so it’s finally time to start a NEW project for 2019. We can't wait to see your new year makes - and all you have to do, to win a voucher to spend at LoveCrochet is show us your first WIP for 2019!
What do I have to do to enter?
To win a £50 LoveCrochet voucher, all you have to do is:
1. Upload a picture of your first WIP of 2019 to our community.
2. Post photos of the project you’re making, and tell us why you're making it.

What should I crochet?
Now that all your gift crochet is done, it's time to start a project just for you. We've found a few treats that you might not be able to resist now that the hustle and bustle is over.
Colourwork is great fun, and it's worth taking some quiet time to devote to Fair Isle and instarsia techniques. Colour work needs quiet time, and and you can't rush it, so set yourself up with your chosen shades and lots of space, and make sure you have a good light to follow a chart.

If you're looking for a project to sink into, choose a cosy, comforting yarn and a bigger hook - working with aran, chunky and super chunky yarn is fast and hugely satisfying. Dig into your stash and find something to curl up with on the sofa - it'll be finished in no time!
