I am an absolute beginner and my handling of yarn is far from perfect. What I can say is Schweppes Cotton 8 is very soft to crochet with. I can achieve fabulous stitch definition when my tension is under control. I have ‘frogged’ A LOT and this caused the yarn strands to unwind somewhat, making it harder for me crochet neatly, however a pointy crochet hook helps me to pick up the yarn better. I haven’t washed any of the samples I’ve made yet but I imagine being 100% cotton, they’d come out nice. I should probably award 5 stars but being a beginner - I’ve nothing to compare this cotton yarn with.
