    • Double Point 4.00mm (US 6) 15cm
    • Double Point 5.00mm (US 8) 20cm

    Accessories

    • Tapestry Needle
    Other : Pompom made using 150 rounds over 4 fingers and trimmed to required size.
    It was really tricky to knit the hat over 4 20cm double pointed needles; a small circular needle would be much easier.

    Measurements

    57 cm – 22 ½ inches finished circumference- fits 50-55 cm – 19 ½

    Notes: Please note I didn't use the specified yarn! Knitted to 22cm tall but would have been too tall for my head if the tension had been as specified. Circumference knitted true, slightly bigger than head measurement. Fair isle has less elasticity than a plain knit so reducing the needle size wouldn't help and would further reduce the height.
