I used double strands of DK. (Could use 1 strand Aran) For the yellow stripe, I used the yellow and white. Cast on 5 sts. When I got to the end of increasing, I did not increase on the last row. Then I began the decrease knitting on the next row. I wanted the corner to be blunt like the starting corner. Each stripe had 9 garter ridges.
