    About

    The pattern looked lovely when I spotted it, and with my new niece on the way I didn’t need much more of an excuse to try my hand at it! I’m fairly new to crochet and wanted to make something useful, learn some new techniques, but also make something that would yield quick results and work up fast – this really ticked all the boxes and was great fun to work on.

      In addition to the aran yarns listed for the blanket itself I used scraps of acrylic DK yarn as suggested in the pattern (pinks, white and yellow) to make the little flowers.
