      Hi Rebecca, wonder if you can help please. I bought the paint box chunky to knit the Downton Cardigan. I done a tension square but wasn’t to happy with how the chunky looked on 8mm. Can I ask? Did you knit the same gauge and did you knit the size to fit yourself or smaller or larger. Your finished cardigan does look beautiful. Thank you in advance.

        I'm a beginner so I literally just knitted on 8mm needles I'm not sure what gauge it was sorry. I knitted it for myself I think I did medium size it is very big and chunky but I like it like that. Sorry I'm not much help

      I used 8mm needles. The cardigan is knitted flat so don't need to be circular I just find then easier for holding a lot of stitches. Hope that helps
