I've had this yarn and pattern for ages, finally got around to making it. My Mum passed away Wednesday evening, holding my hand and cuddling the sleepy puppy I made for her. Knitting can be very precious.
Your bear is very sweet, love her. Iβm so sorry to hear about your mam, itβs an awful thing to loose a parent but also a privilege to be there at the end to offer comfort. Iβm sure your knitting will help and comfort you through your grief. Thinking of you and your family, take care
So sorry to hear about your Mum Sue, but how lovely that you were with her. I do hope you have many happy memories of her. πYour tearoom bear is very sweet. π₯°
π₯Ή. So sad your mum died. Such a comfort you stayed with her. Iβm sure she valued your presence and the comfort from your beautiful knitting. I hope your journey through grief is eased with happier memories of your mum. π
Lovely little bear, but so sorry to hear about your Mum. Must have been a great comfort that you were able to be with her and she had her sleepy puppy with her. Sending best wishes at this sad time x
This is a sad time for you Sue. I am sorry about your mum it's never the right time is it. You were there for her at the end and that is something you can remember always. I expect you're pleased you finished the one for her carer and this new one is a very sweet girl. Thinking of you π

Iβm so sorry to hear the sad news about your Mum. I lost my beloved Dad at the beginning of the month age 91. As Liz has said there is never a good time to lose a parent-young or old but Iβm grateful I was able to have Dad for so long.
Thinking of you in this difficult time π₯°

Thank you so much for your lovely message, Mary π I was lucky to have her for so long, not many people still have their Mum when they're nearly 71! Mum still has the puppy with her. The wonderful lady at the undertakers said I'll get it back when Mum doesn't need it any more β€οΈ
You're so right about knitting providing therapy and friendship. Enjoy making the bears, Mary, I look forward to seeing them. The MJT patterns are so precise, aren't they? I find it really helpful π
