    I've had this yarn and pattern for ages, finally got around to making it. My Mum passed away Wednesday evening, holding my hand and cuddling the sleepy puppy I made for her. Knitting can be very precious.

      I’m so sorry to hear the sad news about your Mum. I lost my beloved Dad at the beginning of the month age 91. As Liz has said there is never a good time to lose a parent-young or old but I’m grateful I was able to have Dad for so long.

        Thank you so much for your lovely message, Mary 💕 I was lucky to have her for so long, not many people still have their Mum when they're nearly 71! Mum still has the puppy with her. The wonderful lady at the undertakers said I'll get it back when Mum doesn't need it any more ❤️

        You're so right about knitting providing therapy and friendship. Enjoy making the bears, Mary, I look forward to seeing them. The MJT patterns are so precise, aren't they? I find it really helpful 💕
