    About

Has been on my list to do since I saw the one Lynn made. Now have an excuse to make it. Hopefully will be useful for car seat/ carry cot. It’s a clearly written, easy to follow pattern. Main part works up quickly. Can’t say the same for the border, although easy to work seemed to take forever. Though the end result is effective. Trying out the WYS’s Bo Peep a wool mix yarn, a very soft, light weight yarn. Wanted lightweight for Australian Climate. Although this yarn goes further than 100% wool, still took almost 4 balls

Oh this is stunning Jean, so delicate and look at the beautiful hearts in the middle. The colour you have chosen is perfect.😊😊That wee teddy is still there I thought he would have been posted off by now.😊😊well not long now Jean and we will be able to see photos of your grandchild.😊💕💕

Thank you Michelle 😊 hope it will come in useful. It is a lovely pattern, when I saw it just wanted to knit it 😊🧶 Yes not long to go now. Not much time for much more baby knitting before the birth. I am busy trying to catch up on my socks for Christmas presents. Though I have found a little baby sock pattern, one for the New Year I think .

Looks lovely Jean. A lovely pattern but agree with you about the border, very tedious to knit but well worth it as it does finish off the blanket beautifully. I’m sure it will be much appreciated.

Thank you Lynn 😊 Yes it’s a really nice pattern. I did enjoy knitting the main part. If I ever choose to make it again, I will be forewarned about the border 😂 But yes it does finish it off very well and looks lovely when finished 😊

Beautiful blanket. It will be very useful as it can be chilly in places with aircon everywhere

This is a beautiful blanket Jean. 🥰 Well done on completing all the border. 👏🏻 I tried making a shawl with the same border and gave up as it was soooooo slow.

Yes the border was hard going 😂 I couldn’t believe how long it was taking, thank goodness it is only a smallish blanket. Something I would avoid in the future!! 😊
