    Just love this pattern....I can adapt it to yarn that is available in my stash......so much easier to knit with 2 needles .....and They Fit the Recipients !!

    Now on my 6th pair...ongoing project.
    I used (uk) DC to seam the socks rather than ( UK) SC as pattern, gives a better finish even if I have to work "toe to cuff " on one sock and "cuff to toe " on the other to give a matching seam.

    Measurements

    Notes: using first and second patterns......made L childs to fit 3/4 womens shoe size..adjusted leg/foot length to suit.....made M womens to fit 5/6 womens shoe size....made M childs to fit 6 yr old. ( 6" foot length )
