  Hi Kirsty, my mum is no longer here, so I have to knit my own jumpers. I love the variation you have done for your son. Much nicer than the original. So, I am following your lead. Would you mind if I ask you a few questions on the way?

  Hi Hans ... of course!
  One thing to note though ... if I knitted this again, I’d use a different yarn. My son’s jumper hasn’t washed well (even with great care - hand wash, dry flat, etc) and is now baggy at the neck and wrists.

  Hi Your make looks great. When you made this, did you follow the pattern exactly. Compared with the picture on the pattern the yoke and the start of the part on circular needles seems wrong to me

  Hi Ruth ... yes, I changed the pattern at the bottom to reflect the one nearest the neck ... thought it looked better!
